This policy describes how Nivati (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our website, Android app, or iOS app for yoga and mindfulness tracking experiences.

Information we collect from our platforms
When you use Nivati on the website, Android app, or iOS app, we may collect:
- Account details such as your name, email, and authentication identifiers when you create an account or join the waitlist.
- Ritual data you enter into the Nivati app and website, including practice titles, scheduling preferences, and completion history.
- Device information and diagnostics (for example, operating system, app version, crash logs) that help us improve performance.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, personalize, and maintain your streak tracking experience across our platforms.
- Send service communications, such as confirmation emails or time-sensitive reminders you request.
- Monitor stability, troubleshoot issues, and ship improvements that keep the Nivati app and website calm and reliable.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Data sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with vetted partners who help us run essential services, such as email infrastructure or analytics.
These partners are required to maintain comparable privacy safeguards and only use the information we provide to deliver contracted services.
Mobile app permissions and data
The Nivati mobile apps for Android and iOS may request certain permissions to function properly. These permissions are used solely to deliver intended features and are never used to collect unrelated data.
- Notifications: Used to remind you of your daily rituals or streak progress, only if you opt in.
- Storage access: Used to locally save your ritual and streak data on your device. We do not access or upload your personal files.
- Internet access: Used to sync your streaks, download updates, or fetch remote configuration data.
- Analytics: We may collect anonymous analytics events (like app opens, feature usage, or crash reports) to improve stability and usability. These do not include personal or ritual data.
Permission use is minimal and designed for functionality and performance only. You can control or revoke permissions anytime from your device settings.
Your choices and controls
- You can update or delete your account data directly within the Nivati app or website settings (coming soon) or by contacting us at contact@nivati.life.
- You can manage notification preferences within the Nivati app or website at any time.
- You may opt out of waitlist communications by using the unsubscribe link included in every email.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.
International data transfers
Nivati operates from the United States. If you access the Nivati app or website from outside the US, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
All user data from both mobile and web platforms may be processed or stored in different countries as part of providing our services.
Children’s privacy
Nivati is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.
Policy updates
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will post the new policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will also provide additional notice.
